Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Last updated May 2, 2026.

Some quick honesty up top, then a form. Both matter.

What we actually do

We do not sell personal information for monetary value. We do share limited information with service providers (Plausible analytics, our CRM, Cloudflare, our finance partners when you apply for credit, the DMV when you buy a car) under written contracts that prohibit secondary use of your data. We do not run ad-tech retargeting, we do not sell email lists, and we do not sell phone numbers.

That said, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the New York SHIELD Act all give you the right to ask us to stop sharing — and to confirm that we are, in fact, doing what we say. This page is how you do that.

Your rights at a glance

  • Right to know. What categories of personal information we've collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the third parties we've shared with.
  • Right to delete. Ask us to delete personal information we've collected, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., we have to keep tax records and DMV titles for as long as the law requires).
  • Right to correct. Update inaccurate personal information we have on file.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Tell us not to share your information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or any other “sale” or “sharing” under the CPRA. (We don't do this anyway, but you have the right to put it in writing.)
  • Right to limit sensitive personal information use. Limit how we use sensitive categories (SSN, driver's license, financial information).
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, raise prices, or degrade quality because you exercised a right under privacy law.

Authorized agents (CPRA)

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If you do, we'll need:

  • A signed written authorization from you to the agent, OR
  • A power of attorney executed under California Probate Code §§ 4000–4465.

We may still contact you to verify identity before acting on the request. Businesses are not required to comply with requests from agents who cannot demonstrate authorization.

Submit a request

Fill out the form below. For V1, the form opens your default email client with the request pre-filled to privacy@drivewithaddys.com. We'll respond within 30 days (we may extend to 45 if your request is complex, with a written explanation of the delay).

How should we verify your identity?

  • If we can't verify your identity, we'll let you know what additional information we need.
  • If we deny any part of the request, we'll explain why and what your options are.
